On Wednesday, the BC Lions released defensive lineman Tim Bonner. The 26-year-old from Demopolis, Alabama, had five tackles, one tackle on special teams, two sacks, and one forced fumble in ten games this year.

Bonner played 23 games in two seasons for the Lions with 27 tackles, two tackles on special teams, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles. He signed with the Lions after the 2020 season was canceled.

Bonner played one season at East Mississippi Community College (2016) with 37 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries in 12 games. Then, Bonner transferred to Florida Atlantic (2017-19) with 58 tackles, eight sacks, two pass breakups, and forced fumbles in 38 games.
