Montreal Alouettes releases wide receiver Dante Absher

On Monday, the Montreal Alouettes released wide receiver Dante Absher. The 28-year-old from Sterling, Virginia, had one catch for five yards in one game this year for Montreal.

Absher played three seasons in Montreal with 14 catches for 179 yards and one touchdown. In addition, Absher had two kick returns for 45 yards and five punt returns for 34 yards. Collegiately, Absher played four seasons at Glenville State (2013-16) with 214 catches for 2,670 yards and 29 touchdowns.
