On Tuesday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former UCLA Bruins linebacker Jordan Genmark Heath. The 24-year-old from Stockholm, Sweden, attended rookie mini-camp for the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year.

Collegiately, Heath played three seasons at Notre Dame (2017-19) with 42 tackles in 39 games before transferring to UCLA (2021) with 55 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries.

The Roughriders drafted Heath in the first round (5th pick) in the 2022 CFL Global Draft. Heath began his football career with the Arlanda Jets, an American football league in Sweden.
