On Wednesday, the Calgary Stampeders and wide receiver Malik Henry agreed to a three-year contract extension, keeping him in Calgary to the end of the 2025 season. The 25-year-old from Tifton, Georgia, has 62 catches for 1,023 yards, eight touchdowns, and two carries for eight yards in 13 games this year.

Henry is in his second season with the Stampeders with 73 catches for 1,147 yards, ten touchdowns, five carries for 17 yards, 21 kick returns for 513 yards, and 43 punt returns for 498 yards in 22 games.

Before the CFL, the San Francisco 49ers signed Henry as an undrafted free agent. He cut in training camp but was brought back to the practice squad. However, he was released again and signed with the Indianapolis Colts. After the Colts released him, Henry signed with the New Orleans Saints before being released in October 2020.

Collegiately, Henry played three seasons at Georgia Southern (2015-17) with 24 catches for 355 yards, one touchdown, two carries for eight yards, and 18 kick returns for 382 yards in 29 games.
