Edmonton wide receiver Dillon Mitchell makes a touchdown catch last week against the BC Lions

On Monday, the Edmonton Elks re-signed wide receiver Dillon Mitchell to a three-year extension through the 2025 season. The 25-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, had 35 catches for 637 yards, four touchdowns, and one carry for 13 yards in nine games in his first season in Edmonton.

Collegiately, Mitchell played three seasons at Oregon (2016-18) with 119 catches for 1,710 yards, 14 touchdowns, five carries for 11 yards, three kick returns for 49 yards, and 21 punt returns for 125 yards in 31 games.

In the 2018 Redbox Bowl, Mitchell had six catches for 70 yards, and one touchdown in a 7-6 win over Michigan State and was named Offensive MVP. He was also named to the PAC-12 All-Conference Second Team in 2018.
