Edmonton Elks and running back Kevin Brown agree to a two-year extension

On Wednesday, the Edmonton Elks and running back Kevin Brown agreed to a two-year contract extension through the 2024 season.

The 26-year-old from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, had 74 carries for 486 yards, one touchdown, and 24 catches for 176 yards in seven games for Edmonton this year.

Collegiately, Brown played one season at Highland Community College (2018) with 137 carries for 860 yards, six touchdowns, 18 catches for 65 yards, and one touchdown in ten games. Then, Brown transferred to Incarnate Word for three seasons (2019-21) with 353 carries for 2,451 yards, 20 touchdowns, 66 catches for 623 laps, and four touchdowns in 31 games.
