Penn State wide receiver Kaytron Allen catches a touchdown against Ohio State

On Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium, the Penn State Nittany Lions lost their second game of the season against Big Ten rivals the Ohio State Buckeyes 44-31. The Nittany Lions are now 6-2, and 3-2 in conference play, while the Buckeyes move to 8-0, and 5-0 in conference play.

Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford was 32/47 for 371 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions. Running back Kaytron Allen had 12 carries for 76 yards, and one touchdown, while wide receiver Parker Washington had 11 catches for 179 yards, and one touchdown.

Penn State’s defense allowed 452 yards, with 56 tackles, two sacks, and two pass breakups. Penn State plays Indiana next Saturday.

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud was 26/33 for 354 yards, one touchdown, and six carries for five yards. Running back TreVeyon Henderson had 16 carries for 78 yards, and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. had ten catches for 185 yards.

Ohio State’s defense allowed 482 yards, with 75 tackles, three sacks, three interceptions, six pass breakups, and one touchdown. Ohio State visits Northwestern next Saturday at noon on ABC.
