On Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium, the Penn State Nittany Lions won their seventh game of the season in a 45-14 win over the Indiana Hoosiers.

The Nittany Lions are now 7-2 in the season and 4-2 in conference play. Meanwhile, the Hoosiers are 3-6 on the season, 1-5 in conference play, and are on a six-game losing streak.

Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford went 15/23 for 229 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. Running back Kaytron Allen had 18 carries for 86 yards, three touchdowns, and two catches for 72 yards.

Backup running back Nicholas Singleton had 16 carries for 73 yards, and one touchdown, while tight end Theo Johnson had four catches for 43 yards and one touchdown.

Penn State’s defense allowed 196 yards, with 56 tackles, six sacks, three pass breakups, and three interceptions. Penn State plays Maryland next Saturday at 3:30 pm on FOX.

Indiana quarterback Jack Tuttle was 9/12 for 82 yards, and one touchdown, while backup quarterback Dexter Williams II was 4/11 for 41 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. Running back Josh Henderson had seven carries for 44 yards, while wide receiver Andison Coby had one catch for 35 yards.

Indiana’s defense allowed 483 yards, with 91 tackles, one sack, two pass breakups, and one interception. Indiana plays Ohio State next Saturday. Time and channel to be determined.
