Stars cornerback Channing Stribling returning an interception against Pittsburgh

On Wednesday, former Philadelphia Stars cornerback Channing Stribling was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 13th round of the 2022 XFL Draft.

Channing Stribling, a 27-year-old from Matthews, North Carolina, led the USFL with seven interceptions, 16 tackles, and one sack. The Stars drafted him in the eighth round (58th pick) in the 2022 USFL Draft.

Before the USFL, the Matthews, North Carolina, native played four games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with six tackles. In 2020, he played five games for the Seattle Dragons (XFL) with 14 tackles, one interception, and three pass blocks.

At Michigan, Stribling played 47 games in four seasons (2013-16) with 68 tackles, one sack, six interceptions, 22 pass blocks, and one forced fumble.
