On Tuesday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Devin Jones, wide receiver Keith Corbin III, and defensive lineman Jerry Garner Jr.

Devin Jones, a 24-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina, spent several weeks on the Roughriders’ practice squad. He previously attended the Carolina Panthers rookie minicamp earlier this year.

Collegiately, Jones played five seasons at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (2017-21) with 112 tackles, five interceptions, 21 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one block on special teams in 42 games. In addition, Jones had two catches for 109 yards, one touchdown, 87 kick returns for 1,965 yards, four touchdowns, 44 punt returns for 439 yards, and one touchdown.

Keith Corbin III, a 25-year-old from Beaumont, Texas, attended rookie camp for the Buffalo Bills earlier this year. He played five seasons at Houston (2016-20) with 94 catches for 1,467 yards, 13 touchdowns, five carries for six yards, and one punt return for eight yards in 41 games. Then, he transferred to Jackson State (2021) with 69 catches for 921 yards, and seven touchdowns in 13 games. He was named to the All-South West Athletic Conference Second Team.

Jerry Garner Jr., a 24-year-old from Chunchula, Alabama, played five seasons at Mississippi Valley State (2017-21) with 169 tackles, 17.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 46 games. He was named to the All-South West Athletic Conference Second Team.
