On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Jeremiah Poutasi. The 28-year-old from Daly City, California, was on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad last season.
Jeremiah Poutasi was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round (66th pick) in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played eleven games, of which seven were starts. Then, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 and played one game.
In addition, he has had stints with the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Broncos, and Arizona Cardinals. In 2019, he played eight games for the Salt Lake Stallions (AAF).
Collegiately, Poutasi played three seasons at Utah (2012-14), playing 36 games of which 35 were starts. In his final season, he played 846 snaps at left tackle and allowed three sacks.
He was named the Las Vegas Bowl Offensive “Out-Performer” of the game and was named Second-team All-Pac-12.
