On Monday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Northern Michigan University offensive lineman Payton Muljo.

The 24-year-old from Marquette, Michigan, joins the Blue Bombers after spending four seasons with the Wildcats (2017-21) playing 27 games at left tackle. In 2018, he helped the Wildcats set a new Single Season Rushing Record, and in 2021 received an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

After college, he signed with the New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League but did not play a game. Later, he signed with the Blue Bombers and spent a portion of the 2022 season on their practice squad.
