On Friday, the Calgary Stampeders signed former Florida State wide receiver Andrew Parchment for the 2023 season. The 25-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent but was released during training camp.
Collegiately, Parchment played one season at Northern Illinois in 2017 with one catch for six yards, and two carries for one yard in nine games before transferring to Iowa Central Community College in 2018. He made 23 catches for 227 yards, and two touchdowns for the Tritons.
Then in 2019, Parchment transferred to Kansas (2019-20) with 89 catches for 1,028 yards, nine touchdowns, and eight carries for ten yards in 20 games for the Jayhawks. He was named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 in 2019.
Finally, Parchment transferred to Florida State in 2021 with 24 catches for 313 yards, two touchdowns, and a three-yard rushing touchdown in 12 games, of which he started in four of them.
