Broc Feeney hits the wall during the VALO Adelaide 500 Race 33

On Saturday at the Adelaide Parklands Circuit in South Australia, the Repco Supercars Championship held its second to last race of the season with Race 33 of the VALO Adelaide 500.

Cameron Waters started the race on the pole but he hit the wall at Turn 11 and was penalized over his role in a late crash to finish in 13th place. Meanwhile, Scott Pye started in second. However, a bad sportsmanship penalty, and later collided with Bryce Fullward on lap 58 to finish in 23rd place.

Chaz Mostert took the lead on lap 53 and never looked back, winning his fourth race of the season over teammate Nick Percat.

The rest of the top ten finishers were James Courtney third, Brodie Kostecki fourth, Tim Slade fifth, Mark Winterbottom sixth, Will Davison seventh, Broc Freeney eighth, Andre Heimgartner ninth, and Lee Holdsworth tenth. The season concludes tonight at 11:15 pm on MotorTrend+.
