The Saskatchewan Roughriders and running back Jamal Morrow agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2023 season. The 27-year-old from Menifee, California, had 126 carries for 666 yards, three touchdowns, 43 catches for 366 yards, one touchdown, 17 punt returns for 143 yards, and 17 kick returns for 358 yards in 12 games during the 2022 season.
Morrow missed six games during the 2022 season due to a broken hand. In 20 career games, Morrow has 135 carries for 707 yards, three touchdowns, 46 catches for 395 yards, one touchdown, 47 punt returns for 473 yards, and 43 kick returns for 944 yards.
Morrow played five seasons at Washington State (2013-17) with 316 carries for 1,795 yards, nine touchdowns, 202 catches for 1,748 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 50 games. Morrow is a two-time All-Pac-12 Conference honorable mention.
