On Saturday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receivers Tavaris Harrison, Tim Knuettel, and Jaivon Heiligh, defensive backs Souleymane Karamoko and Cedrick Lavigne, defensive lineman Cole Adamson, and linebacker DeJaun Cooper.

Tavaris Harrison, a 26-year-old from North Miami, Florida, dressed in five games but never played a down. He spent most of the 2022 season on the Blue Bombers practice squad. Collegiately, Harrison played four seasons at Florida Atlantic (2016-19) with 80 catches for 1,279 yards, and three touchdowns in 50 games.

Timothy Knuettel, a 30-year-old from Berlin, Germany, was on the Blue Bombers practice squad in 2022. He joined the team after playing with the Rhein Fire (ELF) this year with 57 catches for 688 yards and seven touchdowns in ten games.

In the 2021 season, Knuettel played for the Leipzig Kings (ELF) with 51 catches for 701 yards and 12 touchdowns in ten games. Collegiately, Knuettel played at Seton Hall. In 2017, he had 41 catches for 444 yards in ten games.

Jaivon Heiligh, a 23-year-old from Venice, Florida, attended training camp for the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this year. Collegiately, Heiligh played four seasons at Coastal Carolina (2018-21) with 191 catches for 2,825 yards, 22 touchdowns, one kick return for 19 yards, and 26 punt returns for 175 yards in 49 games. He is a two-time Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference First Team.

Souleymane Karamoko, a 25-year-old from Abidjan, Ivory Coast, played two games for the Blue Bombers with one tackle on special teams. The Blue Bombers drafted Karamoko in the second round (13th pick) in the 2022 CFL Global Draft.

Collegiately, Karamoko played three seasons at Laval University (2018-21) with 57 tackles, three sacks, one interception, ten pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 22 games. He helped Laval win the Vanier Cup in 2018.

Cedrick Lavigne, a 24-year-old from Gatineau, Quebec, played two games for the Blue Bombers in 2022 with one tackle on special teams. Winnipeg drafted Lavigne in the seventh round (65th pick) in the 2022 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Lavigne played three seasons at Carleton University (2018-21) with 31 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass breakups in 21 games.

Cole Adamson, a 23-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was drafted by the Blue Bombers in the fourth round (38th pick) in the 2022 CFL Draft. He returned to the University of Manitoba for his senior year.

Adamson played five seasons with the Bisons (2017-22) with 91 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and one block on special teams in 36 games.

DeJaun Cooper, a 23-year-old from Germantown, Maryland, played five games for the Blue Bombers in 2022 with one tackle on special teams. Before signing with the Blue Bombers, Cooper attended the Carolina Panthers training camp.

Collegiately, Cooper played four seasons at Monmouth University (2017-20) with 131 tackles, four sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, and four forced fumbles in 41 games. Then, he transferred to South Dakota in 2021, making 13 tackles, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 12 games.
