The Philadelphia Stars got some great news on Wednesday night as offensive lineman Sean Brown will return for his second season in 2023. The 30-year-old from Uniondale, New York, played nine games for the Stars last season.
The Stars drafted Brown in the 20th round (156th pick) in the 2022 USFL Draft. Before the Stars, Brown was a member of the XFL Team 9 in 2020, a practice squad that supplemented players to all XFL teams in case of injury throughout the season.
In 2019, Brown played for the Salt Lake Stallions (AAF), and the Philadelphia Soul (AFL). In 2021, he was with the Generals (TSL).
Collegiately, Brown played 22 games in two seasons (2014-15) at Mississippi Valley State after transferring from Nassau Community College, where he played two seasons.
