On Monday afternoon at Ford Field. The New Mexico State Aggies (C-USA) defeated Bowling Green Falcons (MAC) by the finals score of 24-19 in the Quick Lane Bowl.

New Mexico quarterback Diego Pavia completed 17 of 29 passes for 167 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and 12 carries for 65 yards.

Running backs Ahmonte Watkins (9 carries, 76 yards, 1 touchdown) and Star Thomas (9 carries, 48 yards, 2 catches, 18 yards, 1 touchdown) combined for 18 carries for 124 yards, one touchdown, and two catches for 18 yards, and one touchdown.

Wide receivers Kordell David (5 catches, 54 yards), Jonathan Brady (4 catches, 43 yards), and Justice Powers (1 catch, 42 yards) combined for ten catches for 139 yards. New Mexico’s defense allowed 294 yards, with 48 tackles, one sack, two pass breakups, and two interceptions. The Aggies finish the season at 7-6.

Bowling Green quarterback Camden Orth completed 14 of 22 passes for 191 yards, one touchdown, and four carries for 16 yards. Running backs Jaison Patterson (6 carries, 23 yards) and Ta’ron Keith (6 carries, 8 yards, 3 catches, 69 yards) combined for 12 carries for 31 yards, and three catches for 69 yards.
