On Tuesday afternoon at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The Memphis Tigers (AAC) defeated the Utah State Aggies (MWC) by the final score of 38-10 in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.

Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan completed 20 of 29 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Jevyon Ducker had 13 carries for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Eddie Lewis (5 catches, 83 yards, 2 touchdowns) and tight end Caden Prieskorn (2 catches, 9 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with seven catches for 92 yards, and two touchdowns.

Memphis’s defense allowed 261 yards, with 66 tackles, four sacks, and three interceptions. The Tigers finish the season at 7-6.

Utah State quarterback Bishop Davenport completed seven of nine passes for 100 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Backup quarterback Cooper Legas completed seven of twelve passes for 34 yards, one interception, and 12 carries for 25 yards.

Running back Calvin Tyler Jr. had 16 carries for 79 yards. Wide receivers Brian Cobbs (6 catches, 79 yards, 1 touchdown) and Terrell Vaughn (4 catches, 34 yards) combined with ten catches for 113 yards, and one touchdown.

Utah State’s defense allowed 430 yards, with 73 tackles, five sacks, and three pass breakups. The Aggies finish the season at 6-7.
