On Wednesday afternoon at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Duke Blue Devils (ACC) defeated the UCF Knights (AAC) by the final score of 30-13 in the Military Bowl Presented by Peraton.
Duke quarterback Riley Leonard completed 19 of 28 passes for 173 yards, ten carries for 63 yards, and two touchdowns. Running backs Jaylen Coleman (7 carries, 53 yards, 1 catch, 2 yards) and Jaquez Moore (12 carries, 43 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 catch, 32 yards) combined with 19 carries for 96 yards, one touchdown, and two catches for 34 yards.
Wide receivers Jalon Calhoun (6 catches, 62 yards) and Sahmir Hagans (4 catches, 32 yards) combined for ten catches for 94 yards. Duke’s defense allowed 326 yards, with 63 tackles, six sacks, four pass breakups, and one interception. The Blue Devils finish the season at 9-4.
UCF quarterback John Rhys Plumlee completed 21 of 34 passes for 182 yards, one interception, and 14 carries for 21 yards. Running back Isaiah Bowser had 11 carries for 39 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Kobe Hudson had five catches for 63 yards.
UCF’s defense allowed 350 yards, with 67 tackles and three pass breakups. The Knights finish the season at 9-5.
