On Wednesday evening at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The Arkansas Razorbacks (SEC) defeated the Kansas Jayhawks (Big XII) by the final score of 55-53 in three overtimes.

Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson completed 19 of 29 passes for 287 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, 14 carries for 130 yards, and two touchdowns. Running backs Rashod Dubinion (20 carries, 112 yards, 2 touchdowns, 3 catches, 19 yards) and AJ Green (13 carries, 99 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with 33 carries for  211 yards, three touchdowns, and three catches for 19 yards.

Wide receiver Matt Landers (3 catches, 121 yards, 1 touchdown) and tight end Ty Washington (1 catch, 17 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with four catches for 138 yards, and two touchdowns.

Arkansas’s defense allowed 603 yards, with 73 tackles, three sacks, two pass breakups, and two interceptions. The Razorbacks finish the season at 7-6.

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels completed 37 of 55 passes for 544 yards, five touchdowns, two interceptions, 14 carries for 21 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Devin Neal had nine carries for 29 yards. Wide receivers Luke Grimm (10 catches, 167 yards, 1 touchdown) and Lawrence Arnold (8 catches, 119 yards) combined with 18 catches for 286 yards, and one touchdown.

Kansas’ defense allowed 681 yards, with 88 tackles, five pass breakups, and one interception. The Jayhawks finish the season at 6-7.
