Florida State wide receiver Ontaria Wilson catches a touchdown in the Cheez-It Bowl

On Thursday evening at Camping World Stadium. The Florida State Seminoles (ACC) defeated the Oklahoma Sooners (Big XII) by the final score of 35-32 in the Cheez-It Bowl.

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis completed 27 of 38 passes for 418 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and seven carries for 50 yards. Running back Treshaun Ward had ten carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receivers Johnny Wilson (8 catches, 202 yards), Ontaria Wilson (5 catches, 74 yards, 1 touchdown), and tight end Markeston Douglas (4 catches, 50 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with 17 catches for 326 yards, and two touchdowns.

Florida State’s defense allowed 496 yards, with 81 tackles, six sacks, and three pass breakups. The Seminoles finish the season at 10-3.

Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel completed 14 of 24 passes for 243 yards, one touchdown, 14 carries for 17 yards, and one touchdown. Running backs Jovantae Barnes (27 carries, 108 yards, 1 touchdown) and Gavin Sawchuk (15 carries, 100 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 catch, 8 yards) combined with 42 carries for 208 yards, two touchdowns, and one catch for eight yards.

Wide receivers Marvin Mims Jr. (2 catches, 77 yards) and Jalil Farooq (4 catches, 59 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with six catches for 136 yards, and one touchdown. Oklahoma’s defense allowed 587 yards, with 66 tackles, two sacks, four pass breakups, and one interception. The Sooners finish the season at 6-7.
