Philadelphia Eagles beat the Giants to clinch the number one seed in the NFC

On Sunday evening at Lincoln Financial Field. The Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) clinched the NFC East title and the number one seed with a 22-16 win over the New York Giants (9-7-1). Watch the game highlights here.

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 20 of 35 passes for 229 yards, one interception, and nine carries for 13 yards. Running back Boston Scott had nine carries for 54 yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers A.J. Brown (4 catches for 95 yards) and DeVonta Smith (7 catches for 67 yards) combined with 11 catches for 162 yards.

Kicker Jake Elliott made five field goals. His longest field goal went for 54 yards. Philadelphia’s defense allowed 284 yards, with 54 tackles, two sacks, and eight pass breakups.

New York quarterback Davis Webb completed 23 of 40 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown, six carries for 41 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Gary Brightwell had 11 carries for 60 yards. Wide receiver Kenny Golladay had two catches for 30 yards and one touchdown.

New York’s defense allowed 342 yards, with 61 tackles, three sacks, three pass breakups, and one interception. The Giants will the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round next weekend.
