The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and offensive lineman Jermarcus Hardrick agreed to a one-year contract extension on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old from Batesville, Mississippi, played 17 games in 2022, helping the Blue Bombers reach the 109th Grey Cup. He was scheduled to be a free agent next month.

Hardrick has played 115 career games in the CFL with the BC Lions (12 games), Saskatchewan Roughriders (8 games), and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (95 games).

In 2021, Hardrick played 11 games and was named a CFL All-Star and CFL West All-Star. He is a two-time CFL West All-Star (2017, 2021). This will be Hardrick’s seventh season with the Blue Bombers.

Collegiately, Hardrick spent one season at Fort Scott Community College in 2009 before transferring to Nebraska (2010-11) playing 27 games at left tackle.
