The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Louisiana-Lafayette defensive back Deuce Wallace on Friday. The 26-year-old from Lafayette, Louisiana, played two preseason games for the Saints in 2021 with four tackles.
Collegiately, Wallace played four seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette (2016-19) as a walk-on with 73 tackles, one sack, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 40 games for the Ragin’ Cajuns.
In his senior year, Wallace had 22 tackles and one pass breakup in 15 games. He was voted captain in his senior year and was a Burlsworth Trophy and Wuerffel Trophy nominee.
