Montreal Alouettes signs DB Kabion Ento and LB Natrez Patrick

The Montreal Alouettes signed former Green Bay Packers defensive back Kabion Ento and former Los Angeles Rams linebacker Natrez Patrick.

Kabion Ento, a 27-year-old from Pine Buff, Arkansas, signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was cut on the final day of training camp. In 2020, he broke a bone in his foot and missed the entire season.

In 2021, Ento played three preseason games with ten tackles, one pass breakup, and one interception. After being released by the Packers at the end of training camp, the re-signed with Green Bay and was placed on the practice squad. In 2022, Ento played two preseason games with 4.5 tackles and one pass breakup.

Collegiately, Ento played two seasons at East Central College in Mississippi (2014-15) as a wide receiver with 59 catches for 885 yards, and ten touchdowns. He was named first-team South All-State in 2015.

Then, Ento transferred to Colorado (2016-18) with 20 catches for 335 yards, two touchdowns, and five tackles in 25 games for the Buffaloes. In 2018, Ento caught 12 passes for 161 yards in his senior season. After the season, he was presented with the Derek Singleton Award, which is given to the player who shows the most spirit, dedication, and enthusiasm.

Natrez Patrick, a 25-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, spent time in training camp with the Detroit Lions. In addition, he spent time with the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos. Patrick signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He played two seasons for the Rams with 4.5 tackles in 25 games.

Collegiately, Patrick played four seasons at Georgia (2015-18) with 160 tackles, two sacks, and one pass breakup in 44 games. In his senior season, Patrick had 44 tackles, and one pass breakup in 14 games for the Bulldogs.
