Rodney Clemons makes a tackle against Michigan

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former SMU defensive back Rodney Clemons on Monday. The 26-year-old from Katy, Texas, spent two seasons on the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans practice squads. As a member of the Titans, Clemons played one preseason game with two tackles and one pass breakup.

Collegiately, Clemons played five seasons at Southern Methodist University (2015-19) with 275 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions, 34 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks in 54 games for the Mustangs. He was named Second-Team All-AAC in 2019.
