The Montreal Alouettes signed former Virginia wide receiver Hasise Dubois and former University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point offensive lineman Jalen Burks on Friday.
Hasise Dubois, a 25-year-old from Irvington, New Jersey, played one game for the Tampa Bay Bandits (USFL) against the Birmingham Stallions in Week 10 with four catches for 36 yards in the 2022 season.
Collegiately, Dubois played four seasons at the University of Virginia (2016-19) with 151 catches for 1,859 yards, and 12 touchdowns in 51 games for the Cavaliers. In his final season at Virginia, Dubois had 75 catches for 1,062 yards, and six touchdowns in 14 games. His best game in 2019 came against Notre Dame with nine catches for 143 yards, and one touchdown.
Jalen Burks, a 26-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice squad in 2022. In 2021, he was on the Toronto Argonauts practice squads.
Collegiately, Burks played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (2015, 2017-19) playing 30 games at left tackle with two tackles. Burks is a two-time All-WIAC Second Team (2018-19).
