Miles Sanders scores two touchdowns in a 31-7 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game

The Philadelphia Eagles are headed to Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in two weeks. They defeated the San Francisco 49ers by the final score of 31-7 at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon. Check out the highlights here. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 15/25 passes (60%) for 121 yards, 11 carries for 39 yards, and one touchdown. Running backs Kenneth Gainwell (14 carries for 48 yards, 2 catches for 26 yards), Miles Sanders (11 carries for 42 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 catch for 2 yards), and Boston Scott (6 carries for 21 yards, 1 touchdown) combined with 31 carries for 111 yards, three touchdowns, and three catches for 28 yards.

Wide receivers DeVonta Smith (2 catches for 36 yards), A.J. Brown (4 catches for 28 yards), and tight end Dallas Goedert (5 catches for 23 yards) combined for 11 catches for 87 yards. Philadelphia’s defense allowed 164 yards, with 54 tackles, three sacks, and one pass breakup.

San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy completed 4/4 passes (100%) for 23 yards before injuring his elbow on a pass. He came back later in the game but did not throw a pass. Backup quarterback Josh Johnson completed 7/13 passes (53.8%) for 74 yards, and two carries for two yards. He suffered a concussion and did not return to the game.

Running back Christian McCaffrey had 15 carries for 84 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel (3 catches for 33 yards) and tight end George Kittle (3 catches for 32 yards) combined with six catches for 65 yards. San Francisco’s defense allowed 269 yards, with 68 tackles, one sack, and four pass breakups.
