The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Ball State defensive lineman Christian Albright on Monday. The 23-year-old from Kennesaw, Georgia, attended training camp for the Chicago Bears in 2022.

Collegiately, Albright played five seasons at Ball State (2017-21) with 260 tackles, 16.5 sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, nine forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 57 games for the Cardinals.

In his senior season, Albright made 65 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games. He was named All-Mid-American Conference Third Team in 2018 and All-Mid-American Conference Second Team in 2020.
