The Reading Royals (26-14-2) concluded a two-game homestand on Tuesday morning. They took on the Worcester Railers (23-20-3) at the Santander Arena.
Four minutes and forty seconds into the first period. Brendan Hoffmann (7) put the Royals up 1-0. Devon Paliani and Tyler Kirkup assisted with his goal. Two minutes and twenty-four seconds later. Brent Beaudoin (12) scored a power play goal that tied the game 1-1 for the Railers. Anthony Repaci and Jimmy Lambert assisted with his goal. The game remained tied 1-1 after one period.
Three minutes and forty-eight seconds into the second period. Jimmy Lambert (10) made it 2-1 Railers. Brent Beaudoin assisted with his goal. Fifteen minutes and twenty-four seconds later. Billy Jerry (3) extended Worcester’s lead to 3-1. Nick Fea and Connor McCarthy assisted with his goal. Worcester led 3-1 after two periods.

Dominic Cormier (6) scored a power play for Reading. It was now 4-2 Worcester. Mason Millman and Jacob Gaucher assisted with his goal.
Eleven minutes and twenty-nine seconds later. Dominic Cormier (7) scored his second power play goal. It was now 4-3 Worcester. Alec Butcher and Jacob Gaucher assisted with his goal. Unfortunately, the Royals could not tie the game and lost by the final score of 4-3 to the Worcester Railers.
The Royals finished the day with 52 shots, 2/6 on the power play, and Pat Nagle made 19 saves. On the other side, the Railers had 23 shots, 1/4 on the power play, and Henrik Tikkanen made 49 saves.
