The Philadelphia Stars released running back Paul Terry on Sunday. Terry was one of five running backs the Stars had on their roster along with Matt Colburn II, Dexter Williams, Jordan Scarlett, and Darnell Holland.

The 25-year-old from Amarillo, Texas, had 31 carries for 169 yards, two touchdowns, and 18 catches for 120 yards in six games, of which four were starts for the Stars in 2022.

The Stars drafted Terry in the tenth round (75th pick) in the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2021, Terry played for the Generals (TSL).

Collegiately, Terry played four seasons at Eastern New Mexico (2016-19) with 644 carries for 3,525 yards, 32 touchdowns, and ten catches for 159 yards in 43 games for the Greyhounds. He is a two-time All-LSC First Team (2018-19), and D2CCA All-Super Region 4, Second Team in 2019.
