Calgary Stampeders sign former Troy linebacker Jordan Anthony

The Calgary Stampeders signed former Troy linebacker Jordan Anthony on Thursday. The 23-year-old from Silver Spring, Maryland, attended training camp with the San Antonio Brahmas (XFL).

Anthony began his collegiate career at Michigan (2018-19) with 14 tackles and one sack in 16 games for the Wolverines. Then, Anthony transferred to Troy in 2021 with 35 tackles and one forced fumble in 12 games for the Trojans.

In high school, Anthony attended IMG Academy, helping the team to two undefeated seasons in 2015 and 2016 with 79 tackles, half a sack, and three pass breakups in his senior year. In addition, he had 43 carries for 241 yards and three touchdowns.
