The Philadelphia Stars signed former Northern Arizona defensive end Carson Taylor on Tuesday. The 25-year-old from Glendale, Arizona, attended the Chicago Bears training camp in 2022.
Collegiately, Taylor played five seasons at Northern Arizona (2017-21) with 163 tackles, 19 sacks, one interception, seven pass breakups, and six forced fumbles in 47 games for the Lumberjacks. His 19 sacks are tied for third all-time in Northern Arizona history.
In his final season, Taylor had 30 tackles, six sacks, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in eight games. He was named Phil Steele All-Big Sky Third Team, All-Big Sky Honorable Mention, and Spring All-Big Sky Honorable Mention.
