Edmonton Elks signs former Henderson defensive back CJ Jones

The Edmonton Elks signed former Henderson defensive back CJ Jones on Wednesday. The 25-year-old from North Las Vegas, Nevada, played four games for the Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL) with 15 tackles, one interception, and six pass breakups.

Collegiately, Jones played two seasons at Southern Oregon (2015-17) with 66 tackles, one sack, and eight pass breakups in 22 games for the Raiders. He is a member of the Academic All-Frontier Conference team.

 Then, Jones transferred to Henderson University (2018-19) playing two seasons with 97 tackles, one interception, 14 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 22 games for the Reddies.
