The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Reinhardt University quarterback Billy Hall on Wednesday. The 23-year-old from Scott, Tennessee, completed 108 of 199 passes (54.3%) for 1,670 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in 12 games for the Eagles.
He led the Eagles to a 9-3 record, a sixth consecutive Mid-South Conference Championship, and was named Academic All-Conference honors. The Eagles lost in the opening round of the playoffs to Keiser University in the 2021-22 season.
During the season, Hall was twice named MSC Appalachian Offensive Player of the Week after completing 12 of 19 passes (63.2%) for 237 yards, three touchdowns, and eight carries for 35 yards against the Union Bulldogs in a 47-7 win on November 6th.
His first MSC Appalachian Offensive Player of the Week came on October 9th in a 49-35 win over the Bluefield as Hall completed 13 of 15 passes (86.7%) for 224 yards, four touchdowns, ten carries for 53 yards, and two touchdowns.
Hall played three seasons at Reinhardt (2019-21) completing 255 of 464 passes (55%) for 4,132 yards, 45 touchdowns, 15 interceptions, 244 carries for 1,407 yards, and 17 touchdowns in 29 games for the Eagles.
