The Philadelphia Eagles signed former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota to a one-year contract worth $5 million for the 2023 season but can earn up to $8 million in bonuses. In 2014, he won the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Davey O’Brien Award, Walter Camp Award, Manning Award, and Maxwell Award. In addition, he became the first Oregon player to win the Heisman Trophy.
Greedy Williams, a 25-year-old from Shreveport, Louisiana, made 11 tackles in 11 games for the Browns. He missed the beginning of the 2022 season with a hamstring injury.
The Browns drafted Williams in the second round (46th pick) in the 2019 NFL Draft. Williams played three seasons in Cleveland with 99 tackles, two interceptions for seven yards, 12 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 39 games, of which 21 were starts.
