The Reading Royals (34-20-4) returned to the Santander Arena to start a three-game homestand against the Atlanta Gladiators (31-24-6) in their first meeting of the season. The Royals routed the Gladiators by the final score of 8-2. The Royals are 6-3-1 in their last ten games.
Reading forward Evan Barratt scored two goals and two assists. Barratt now has 17 goals this season. Furthermore, Devon Paliani (2 goals, 12 goals overall), Charlie Gerard (1 goal, 29 goals overall), Jacob Gaucher (1 goal and 2 assists, 18 goals overall), and Brendan Hoffmann (1 goal, 11 goals overall) scored goals for the Royals.
Tyler Heidt, Colin Felix, Garrett McFadden, and Shane Sellar had assists. The Royals finished the night with 35 shots, 1-3 on the power play, and Pat Nagle made 41 of 42 saves.
