The Montreal Alouettes signed former Oklahoma State defensive lineman Israel Antwine on Friday. The 22-year-old from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022.
Collegiately, Antwine played one season at Colorado (2018) with 15 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a half a sack in 12 games for the Buffalos. Then, Antwine transferred to Oklahoma State (2019-21) with 65 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 34 games for the Cowboys.
In his final season, Antwine made 20 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks in 13 games. He was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 (Coaches) in 2019, named First Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2020, and Second Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2021.
