The Philadelphia Stars signed former Kentucky offensive lineman Dare Rosenthal on Tuesday. The 23-year-old from Ferriday, Louisiana, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2022. At the 2022 NFL Combine, Rosenthal was the fastest offensive lineman to run a 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds.

In high school, Rosenthal was the top-rated defensive tackle prospect in Louisiana. He helped his team to the semifinals of the 2A state playoffs as a senior in 2017. In addition, Rosenthal was the nation’s No. 18 overall defensive tackle and ranked as the seventh-best defensive tackle in the south region, and ranked No. 193 overall by Scout.

In his senior season, Rosenthal made 60 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, six sacks, five quarterback hurries, recovered four fumbles (two for TDs), blocked a field goal, and one interception.

Collegiately, Rosenthal played 13 games in two seasons at LSU (2019-20), of which eight were starts at left guard for the Tigers. In 2019, he played 229 snaps helping the Tigers go undefeated at 15-0 and win the CFP National Championship over Clemson.

In 2021, Rosenthal transferred to Kentucky and started 12 of 13 games for the Wildcats playing left tackle. He missed the Vrbo Citrus Bowl due to a leg injury late in the season and was named All-SEC Third Team (PFF).
