Jaylon McClain-Sapp returns a fumble for a touchdown against Philadelphia

The B.C. Lions signed former Pittsburgh Maulers (USFL) defensive back Jaylon McClain-Sapp on Thursday. McClain-Sapp is five foot ten and weighs 183 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, made seven tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown for the Maulers in 2022. Before the Maulers, Jaylon McClain-Sapp signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2021.

Collegiately, McClain-Sapp played five seasons at Marshall (2016-20) with 67 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions for 20 yards, and 16 pass breakups in 38 games for the Thundering Herd. In his final season at Marshall, McClain-Sapp made 31 tackles, a half tackle for loss, and six pass breakups in ten games.
