The B.C. Lions signed former William & Mary wide receiver Cole Blackman on Monday. Cole Blackman is six foot four and weighs 205 pounds. The 25-year-old from Glen Allen, Virginia, caught 26 passes for 426 yards, three touchdowns, and one carry for eight yards in 11 games for the Tribe in 2021.

Blackman began his collegiate career at Virginia (2016-18) playing 15 games on special teams and wide receiver. In 2017, he did not play in any games after suffering a season-ending injury. Then in 2019, he transferred to Illinois State with two catches for 23 yards and one carry for two yards in eight games for the Redbirds.

Afterward, Blackman transferred to William & Mary (2020-21) with 38 catches for 620 yards, four touchdowns, and one carry for eight yards in 14 games. He was selected to the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) 2022 Hampshire Honor Society.
