Hamilton Tiger-Cats welcome back defensive back Caesar Williams

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed defensive back Caesar Williams on Thursday. Caesar Williams is six foot and weighs 188 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Grand Prairie, Texas, singled with the Tiger-Cats on October 1st and spent the rest of the season on Hamilton’s practice squad. Before Hamilton, Williams was with the Los Angeles Rams in training camp but was released.

Collegiately, Williams played five seasons at Wisconsin (2017-21) with 100 tackles (72 solo, 28 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions for 65 yards, one touchdown, 27 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 48 games for the Badgers.

In his final season, Williams had 28 tackles (21 solo, 7 assists), three interceptions for 49 yards, one touchdown, and nine pass breakups in 13 games. He is a two-time Third Team All-Big Ten and All-Big Ten honorable mention.
