Toronto Argonauts sign former Valdosta State offensive lineman Ralph Singleton

The Toronto Argonauts signed former Valdosta State offensive lineman Ralph Singleton on Monday. Ralph Singleton is six foot four and weighs 270 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Sumter, South Carolina, signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 21st, 2022, but was released on June 5th.

Collegiately, Singleton played two seasons at Presbyterian College (2016-17). In 2017, he played 11 games, making seven starts. Singleton was part of an offensive line that allowed the second-fewest sacks in the Big South. In addition, they helped running back Torrance Marable rush for over 1,000 yards, and lead the Big South in rushing yards.

Afterward, Singleton transferred to Valdosta State (2018-21). He played 39 games and was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference in 2021, and Second Team All-Gulf South Conference in 2019.
