The Calgary Stampeders signed former Coastal Carolina wide receiver Tyler Roberts on Tuesday. Tyler Roberts is six foot four and weighs 200 pounds.
The 22-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, caught seven passes for 150 yards, and three touchdowns in 13 games for the Chanticleers in 2022. In his final game in the Birmingham Bowl against East Carolina, Roberts caught one pass for 47 yards, and one touchdown.
Roberts played two seasons at Coastal Carolina (2021-22) with nine catches for 162 yards, and three touchdowns in 23 games.
Before Coastal Carolina, Roberts played two seasons at North Carolina Wesleyan (2018-19) with 36 catches for 882 yards, and 11 touchdowns in 16 games for the Battling Bishops.
In 2019, he earned First Team All-Conference when he caught 29 passes for 737 yards, and nine touchdowns in ten games.
