Hamilton Tiger-Cats

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed former Sam Houston State offensive lineman Moses Johnson on Tuesday. Moses Johnson is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds.

The 24-year-old from Sugar Land, Texas, played nine games at right tackle, helping the Bearcats finish 5-4. The Bearcats averaged 18.33 points per game, 162.3 rushing yards per game, and 168.22 passing yards per game.

The offense had 2,975 yards (330.6 AVG), and 17 touchdowns. However, the team was ineligible for the WAC Championship and FCS playoffs as Sam Houston are transiting to the FBS.

Johnson played five seasons at Sam Houston State (2018-22). He started as a defensive lineman in his freshmen year playing ten games on special teams. In 2019, he made the switch to the offensive line, while remaining on special teams. He played 28 games on the offensive line.
