The Calgary Stampeders signed former Bowling Green offensive lineman Jakari Robinson on Wednesday. Jakari Robinson is six foot one and weighs 310 pounds.
The 23-year-old from Talladega, Alabama, appeared in ten of Bowling Green’s 13 games with nine starts for the Falcons. He was named First Team PFF All-MAC and Athlon Sports preseason Third Team All-MAC.
Before Bowling Green, Robinson played 21 games in two seasons at Cincinnati (2018-19). In 2019, Cincinnati’s offense ranked in the top half of the AAC in rushing offense when running back Michael Warren II became the first player to run for 1,000 or more yards in back-to-back seasons since 2010-11.
Cincinnati won the AAC East Division and won the TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl. After the season, Robinson was named AAC All-Academic Team.
Then, Robinson transferred to Memphis in 2021 and appeared in seven games. He helped the Tigers’ offense rank 16th in the nation in passing offense (298.8) and 38th in total offense (423.9).
