3ICE Hockey League to make stops in Hershey and Philadelphia this summer

3ICE League returning for season two in 2023

On Monday, the 3ICE Hockey League announced its 2023 summer schedule and three of those stops include the state of Pennsylvania.

This will be the second season for the league. The inaugural winner of the championship was Team Trottier coached by Bryan Trottier, who defeated Team Mullen 4-3 to win the Patty Cup.

The league’s season starts on June 28th at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In week two, they visit the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on July 5th, followed by the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on July 12th.

In Week 4, the league will make its way to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on July 19th, followed by the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 26th. The regular season ends on August 2nd, at the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The 3ICE Championship game will be played at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 12th. The games will air on CBS, CBS Sports Network, and TSN.

The coaches for the 3ICE League are Ray Bourque, Ed Johnson, Craig Patrick, Guy Carbonneau, Grant Fuhr, John LeClair, Joe Mullen, and Larry Murphy.

The coaches have already picked their rosters for the upcoming season. The roster consists of players who used to or currently play in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, or international leagues.

Team Bourque: Ryan Bednard, Chris Bourque, Ryan Bourque, T.J. Hensick, Cooper Zech, Patrick Grasso, and Shane Harper.

Team Carbonneau: Jeremy Brodeur, Samson Mahbod, Zach Goberis, Kevin Fitzgerald, Tyler Murovich, John Albert, and Matt Petgrave.

Team Fuhr: Jacob Theut, Jake Newton, Jack Combs, Mitch Fossier, John Schiavo, Landon Smith, and Zack Kamrass.  

Team Johnson: Brandon Halverson, Chad Costello, Bobby Farnham, Mike Lundin, Cody Sylvester, Eddie Matsushima, and Trevor Gooch.

Team LeClair: Max Milosek, Brandon Hawkins, Ian McCoshen, Brayden Watts, Colton Saucerman, Tim Coffman, and Colin Theisen.

Team Mullen: Parker Milner, Patrick Mullen, Joe Whitney, Paul Carey, Seamus Donohue, Steven Whitney, and Cam Brown.

Team Murphy: Eamon McAdam, Hank Crone, Matt Register, Colton Hargrave, Mark Auk, Derek Barach, and Max Gerlach.

Team Patrick: Evan Cowley, Brandon Pirri, Brian Flynn, Owen Headrick, Gordie Green, Alex Kile, and Ty Pelton-Byce.
