The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former UTEP defensive lineman Jadrian Taylor and former Middle Tennessee State linebacker Christian Dixon on Wednesday.
Jadrian Taylor is six foot one and weighs 246 pounds. The 23-year-old from Lufkin, Texas, had 42 tackles (21 solo, 21 assists), 11.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Minors in 2022.
Jadrian Taylor played three seasons at UTEP (2020-22) with 81 tackles (42 solo, 39 assists), 19.5 sacks, 16 sacks, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 32 games. He was an Honorable Mention All-Conference USA in 2021 after making 33 tackles (19 solo, 14 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and one pass breakup in 13 games.
Before UTEP, Taylor played two seasons at Kilgore College (2018-19) with 53 tackles (35 solo, 18 assists), eight sacks, and two forced fumbles in 21 games for the Rangers.
Christian Dixon is five foot ten and weighs 220 pounds. The 24-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, played one season at Middle Tennessee State with 46 tackles (22 solo, 24 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one pass breakup, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 13 games for the Blue Raiders in 2022. He was named Third Team PFF College All-C-USA.
Before Middle Tennessee State, Dixon played four seasons at Towson (2017-19, 2021) with 159 tackles (90 solo, 59 assists), 17.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, five pass breakups, seven forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 33 games for the Tigers.
