The Birmingham Stallions (3-1) and the Pittsburgh Maulers (1-3) concluded week four of the USFL season on Sunday night at Tom Benson’s Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Coming into this game, the Stallions were an 8.5-point favorite over the Maulers.

Birmingham quarterback Alex McGough led the Stallions to a 24-20 win over the Pittsburgh Maulers. He completed 17 of 29 passes (58.6%) for 157 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. In addition, he led the rushers with ten carries for 47 yards and one touchdown. Kicker Brandon Aubrey made one field goal with a long of 37 yards.

Birmingham running back Zaquandre White had ten carries for 42 yards, and one catch for 11 yards, while wide receiver Davion Davis led the receivers with eight catches for 71 yards and one touchdown. Birmingham’s defense allowed 311 yards, with 54 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and five pass breakups.

Pittsburgh quarterback Troy Williams completed 20 of 32 passes (62.5%) for 210 yards. In addition, he led the rushers with seven carries for 63 yards and one touchdown.

Pittsburgh running back Garrett Groshek had five carries for 19 yards, and wide receiver Bailey Gaither led the receivers with six catches for 62 yards. Kicker Chris Blewitt made four field goals with a long of 46 yards.

Pittsburgh’s defense allowed 281 yards, with 67 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and four pass breakups.

Next week, the Pittsburgh Maulers visit Ford Field on Saturday against the Michigan Panthers at 12:30 pm on USA Network, followed by the Birmingham Stallions hosting the Houston Gamblers at 4 pm on FOX. Tickets for both games are available on StubHub and Viagogo.
